The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, has expressed deep sorrow at the passing of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
In a condolence message, the Prince described Dr. Singh as “one of the great sons of the soil” whose legacy includes significant contributions to national integration, secularism, and communal harmony. Praising Dr. Singh’s patriotism, the Prince highlighted his unwavering commitment to the welfare of backward classes and minorities. He recalled the honour of meeting the former Prime Minister twice in New Delhi, during visits with minority delegation.
In his message, the Prince offered heartfelt condolences to Dr. Singh’s family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
