Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence and conveyed New Year wishes to him. They later had a brief interaction on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a host of senior officers extended New Year greetings to Mr. Vijayanand. Director General of Police Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Special Chief Secretaries Mukesh Kumar Meena, Kantilal Dande, Sasibhushan Kumar, G. Jaya Lakshmi and V. Sunitha were among those who met the Chief Secretary.
Later, office-bearers of the A.P. Secretariat Employees’, A.P. Revenue Services and A.P. NGOs’ associations felicitated Mr. Vijayanand, who succeeded Neerabh Kumar Prasad upon the latter attaining superannuation.
Mr. Vijayanand, a 1992-batch IAS officer, took charge as the Chief Secretary on December 31, 2024.
