The woman, who had allegedly honey-trapped the 26-year-old man killed in a shooting spree at a Delhi’s Burger King outlet, was spotted at the Katra Railway Station on Thursday.

Anu, also known as “Lady Don” among her gang members, was seen carrying her luggage at the Katra railway station on Thursday in a security camera footage. She had covered her face with a scarf.

Sources say she boarded a train bound for Mumbai at around 10 am on Thursday.

Police sources say the woman – a close aide of fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau – was part of the trap set up to lure Aman Joon to the Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden where he was murdered.

Anu belongs to Haryana’s Rohtak and has a criminal record. “Attempts are being made to track her down,” police said.

As many as 38 bullets of three different makes were fired at Aman Joon inside the fast food outlet, the FIR says. The different bullets suggest that more than two weapons were used by the two shooters.

In another security camera footage, which was released earlier, Anu was seen sitting with Aman when the gunmen opened fire.

CCTV footage has shown that Anu took a train from GTB Nagar Metro Station to reach Rajouri Garden and after the murder, she took the metro from Rajouri Garden to Shakurpur Metro Station.

Aman’s body was found behind the billing counter, indicating that he tried to flee when the killers opened fire.

Himanshu Bhau, suspected to be in Portugal now, has claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post, calling it a “revenge killing”.

Himanshu Bhau, whose gang operates across Delhi and Haryana, is notorious for extortion, the police officer said. Bhau, an associate of jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana, fled the country in 2022.

Visuals of the chilling murder of a 26-year-old man inside a Burger King outlet in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden have surfaced, showing how the targetted killing took place at the popular fast food joint.

The victim, Aman, was sitting with a woman. She is showing the man a picture on her phone. At 9:41 pm, the first shots were fired. Two men sitting behind the victim took their pistols out and shot him in the back.

The gunshots created panic inside the outlet and people were seen running away. Aman ran towards the billing counter and the men in orange and white shirts chased him and shot him multiple times from point-blank range. One of the shooters stood on the counter and fired several times.

Meanwhile, the woman sitting with Aman was unfazed by the incident and walked off the food joint. In less than a minute, the entire Burger King outlet was empty.

The Mystery Woman

The woman who sat with Aman may have lured him into coming to Burger King, sources told NDTV. The woman’s role in the crime is under probe. The woman, police sources say, has a criminal record and attempts are being made to track her down. She vanished with Aman’s phone and wallet. 

The Portugal Connection

Fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau, suspected to be in Portugal now, has claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post and a police officer told PTI that police suspect the same. Himanshu Bhau has said in the post that Aman was involved in the murder of “our brother” Shakti Dada and “this was revenge”. He warned the others involved and said their “turn will come soon”.

Despite being only 21 years old, Himanshu Bhau or “Chhota Don”  has already earned notoriety in the underworld, with his criminal activities attracting the attention of Interpol, which has issued a red corner notice against him. This gangster, originally from Ratauli village in Haryana’s Rohtak, has a presence in the Delhi-NCR region, while orchestrating violent crimes from abroad.

The most recent and shocking crime linked to Himanshu Bhau unfolded on Tuesday night at a Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden in Delhi. Two shooters, reportedly in the age group of 25-30, unleashed a rain of bullets, firing 38 rounds from three different weapons. Their target was 26-year-old Aman Joon, whose body was found behind the billing counter. This brazen attack, carried out in a public place, has raised serious questions about the law and order situation in the national capital.

The Revenge Claim

Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder of Aman Joon was an act of revenge for a 2020 murder in Haryana. Himanshu Bhau, through a post on his new Instagram account, claimed responsibility for the attack. He alleged that Aman was involved in the killing of his associate, Shakti Dada, and promised retribution against all those involved. His message read, “The person killed in Rajouri Garden was involved in the murder of our brother Shakti Dada, and this was an act of revenge. All the other people involved in this will also be targeted soon.”

Rise Of Himanshu Bhau

Himanshu Bhau’s journey into the criminal underworld began in his hometown of Ratauli. At just 17 years old, a heated altercation led him to procure a pistol and fire a shot, an act that landed him in a juvenile correction home. However, Himanshu soon escaped, and over time, accumulated 17 serious criminal cases against him in Rohtak and Jhajjar. His notoriety grew, and so did his criminal empire, eventually earning him the moniker “Chhota Don” of Delhi.

The gangster is believed to be orchestrating his criminal activities from abroad, possibly from Portugal which is his last known location. His associate, Sahil, was recently detained in the US. Despite being overseas, Himanshu’s influence in Delhi remains potent, as demonstrated by the recent Burger King shooting.

A Network Of Fear And Extortion

Himanshu Bhau’s criminal activities extend beyond murder. He is heavily involved in extortion, targeting traders, liquor sellers, and bookies across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan. His modus operandi involves demanding money through WhatsApp, followed by visits from his henchmen to intimidate and, if necessary, execute his threats with violence. His gang has carried out several firing incidents in the past six months alone, including an indiscriminate shooting at a car showroom in West Delhi last month.

The gangster has formed alliances with rivals of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, one of the most feared criminal networks in North India. His association with jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana has further strengthened his position.

New Delhi:

A man was shot dead inside a Burger King outlet in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden last night in a shocking crime at one of the busiest parts of the national capital.

Three shooters walked into the fast food outlet and fired at least 15 shots at the victim, witnesses told the police. The shooters fled the spot in two-wheelers parked near the outlet.

The man suffered multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The attack appeared to be linked to personal or professional enmity, the police said.

“We received a call at around 9.45 pm from Rajouri Garden. The beat officers responded and went to the spot. Later, special teams were mobilised,” said senior police officer Vichitra Veer.

“We are trying to establish the identities of the three shooters.”

Security footage is being scanned to identify the men. The police are also questioning the manager and staff of the Burger King outlet.

Reports suggested that the shooting followed an argument between two groups.

A Mercedes car parked near the outlet is also being traced. The police are investigating whether it was linked to the attackers.
