A video went viral on social media recently for showing fake garlic made of cement in Maharashtra’s Akola district.

In the video, a person can be seen peeling a piece of garlic with cement visible inside it. The garlic appears to be rock hard.

As prices of garlic skyrocket across the country, cases of fake garlic being sold in vegetable markets are surfacing.
